For the Feast of the Winter Star, Alex gifts us a nice tea set! We are delighted because as far as we know, there is no other way in the game to get this item! In the day, we work on redesigning the layout of the sprinklers. At night, we also complete the Qi's Crop quest and witness the birth of a new baby pig!

Our inventory is still full from yesterday's Skull Cavern escapade! We keep our items in the chests and start to smelt down the ores we had collected. We also shift the decorative trash can at the storage area to make space for our new crystalarium! Then, we reenter the farmhouse to tend to the indoor garden.

At the kitchen, we see that our Qi Fruit jelly is done processing, so that means we can finally ship away the Qi Fruit we had grown to complete Mister Qi's quest! We keep our mining items and pick up the rest of our tools. The fortune teller says our luck is very good today, but unfortunately we can't go mining since it is the day of an important holiday!

We are a little saddened when we remember that the host of Livin' Off The Land had already retired two years ago, when we watch the rerun of the episode where he announced the news! Hopefully, he is enjoying his retirement somewhere beautiful like Stardew Valley. While in the house, we accidentally hit our child with the Galaxy Hammer, oops!

In the living room, we decide to remove one of the box lamps we had placed two days ago! We move the other lamps out of the room as we felt that the lamps looked too intrusive. We pick up our Qi Fruit and Qi Beans before going out of the farmhouse to start working on the farm!

We make some pale ale before going down to the animal pen to interact with the animals! Stopping by the shipping bin beside the fish ponds, we place our Qi Fruit and Beans inside! We were originally going to trash the beans until we realised they were worth a bit of money.

At our storage area, we pick up some crafting materials for different types of paths and floor tiles! We then make our way to the mushroom cave and the greenhouse, to collect mushrooms and ancient fruit! Our jade crystalariums are also done so we gather some jades from the big shed.

After we are done, there is hardly any time left to work on a new design for the farm! We change the position of a few iridium sprinklers outside the sheds before we leave for the festival. Since we intend to add some pressure nozzles to the sprinklers and increase their radius, we place the sprinklers further apart from each other!

We make a brief stop at the storage area to store our items, which may not have been such a good idea since we are rushing for time! We do make it to the festival, but just barely! We walk around the town square to talk to all the villagers before giving Sam his gift of an iridium-quality cactus fruit!

At Pierre's stall, we begrudgingly buy a few winter banners after he suggests creating more festivals to exploit the townsfolk! We see his poor family eating without him and wonder if Pierre should have just forgotten about work today. Oh well, what do we know? We are merely the lowly farmer that drives the entire town's economy!

Beside the giant Winter Star tree, Alex passes us a beautifully wrapped box! What gift it is does not really matter, it is the thought that counts. Still, we are very excited to receive the tea set, as it is a very rare item! Alex says it was the best thing he could afford, but we have no idea where he even bought it in the first place!

We return to the farm at night. Immediately, we get to work with the little time we have left in the day! We smelt some more gold ore and then start moving the sprinklers that are just beside the furnaces. Alas, we should have checked how many crows our scarecrows had scared away before moving them!

It would have been interesting to see how effective our scarecrows were! After we move them to a new position, we find that the number of crows scared resets. We move a few more sprinklers around before heading to the farmhouse. We barely make it through the door before passing out!

At the end-of-day screen, we collect 100 Qi Gems for completing Qi's Crop! We intend to spend some Qi Gems very soon on farm equipment like pressure nozzles. We also get the chance to name our new baby pig, and we continue to name them after various aromatic spices!
