Continuing on from yesterday, we work on preparing the farm for the crops that we are going to plant next year! We shift around the sprinklers and install some pressure nozzles that we buy from Mister Qi's shop! We also add more decorative paths and lampposts, leaving no corner of the farm untouched!

After we wake up, we store away the winter banners that we bought yesterday! We harvest our tea leaves and other crops from the indoor garden. The tea set that Alex gave us goes onto the festive dining table in the kitchen! We leave the farmhouse to keep the rest of our items as our inventory has become full.

We walk onto the farm where we check the number of crows that each scarecrow has scared away out of curiosity. Then, we start moving some of the quality sprinklers. We visit the animal pen to make sure our animals are all warm and happy, and also check on our new pig Nutmeg!

We store away our items at the storage area before going to Ginger Island with the island obelisk. It is our first time visiting the island in three days! We harvest all the tropical fruits and valuable fairy rose honey that were waiting for us, before visiting Mister Qi's walnut room.

At Mister Qi's shop, we purchase 8 pressure nozzles! Returning to the valley, we head to the greenhouse to harvest some assorted fruits! We clear our inventory and fill the furnaces with iridium ore. Then, we pick up some crafting materials for new paths before resuming work on the redesign of the farm!

We add pressure nozzles to the iridium sprinklers as we walk past. We pick up some spare paths from our chests, but in the end these turn out not to be that useful! Instead we resort to crafting all the new paths that we build, since our chests did not have the exact types of path that we wanted.

We place the first few stepping stones to fill in some empty space between the teleport obelisks and the road! We also craft two wooden lampposts that are placed at the area in front of the Junimo hut! We lay down some wood path leading away from the Junimo hut in a symmetrical pattern. Then, we cover up all the unused tiles with crystal path!

We even put some crystal path behind the giant pumpkin, the Junimo hut and the well, as it will help prevent debris from appearing on those tiles. The area looks quite good after we are done! We head over to the other side of the stone road, where we unfortunately need to remove a giant cauliflower.

Using some stepping stone path, we fill in a one-tile wide gap between the road and the farm plots to the left! We move a quality sprinkler to the right, such that it lines up with the other giant cauliflower that is on the farm. Now, it is time for a giant melon to go, in order to accommodate a new farm plot with a high-pressure iridium sprinkler!

Although we are a little dismayed that we had to remove some giant crops, we now have exactly one of each type! Also, the farm looks neater without the crops lying around. We also have to remove a meteorite, but just like the giant melons and cauliflowers, we have another one on the farm that we will definitely preserve!

After removing some torches and tree seeds that now lie in the farming area, we decide to zoom out so we have a better view of the entire farm! The falling snow that obscures our vision is still quite annoying however! We will have to wait for a sunny day to get a good look at the new farm layout!

Since there is still some space on the left side of the farm, we place down two quality sprinklers to the north of the iridium sprinkler farm plots, and line them with some stepping stones. We continue to use stepping stone paths to fill in the empty space around our main roads!

We ride our horse over to the storage area, where we push some chests to the side to create a larger space where we can walk around more freely! Two squares above the mailbox, there is a tile that seems to resist our attempts to push the chests onto it though!

Apparently, this tile is where Robin stands when she is upgrading the farmhouse! Our farmhouse has been fully upgraded, but the game still does not let us use the space. We try placing a lantern on the tile but it does not work either. I guess we have no choice but to leave the chests separated from each other!

It is already midnight! We smelt more iridium ore in the furnaces before adding some stepping stones around the mailbox. Then, we use a design of wood path and wood floor to fill in the grassy area surrounded by the chests! We continue extending the path behind the farmhouse and towards the obelisks, but we eventually run out of time.

We just need one more tile to complete the path, but we don't want to risk losing 1000 gold to Linus or Harvey! We probably had enough time to do it though, since we were able to add more coffee beans to the keg before passing out. Anyway, there's no rush, we will just do it tomorrow!
