Stardew Valley 240 :: Third Garbage Hat
12In town, we visit Alex to see how he is doing! While checking the garbage can beside his house, it pops off with a bang and we acquire our third garbage hat! We can't bear to see him so dejected so we head to the witch's shrine to wipe his memory. At the volcano mines, we find an ostrich egg in a rare red chest!
Waking up, we see that Alex's room is gone and feel a little twinge in our heart! Well, I guess his room did not look the greatest in our farmhouse with its garish green flooring. Out of all the rooms we have seen so far, I feel that Leah's room looked the best with the rest of our farmhouse!
While harvesting the crops in the garden, we realise our inventory is still full of items from the mines! We smelt some copper in the furnaces and pick up some jars of wild honey on the farm. Then, we harvest the ripe tomatoes, the hops and the hot peppers!
Seeing that the fruit trees are full, we shake them to get some peaches and mangoes! We collect from our fish ponds and harvest some tea leaves as well. We head into the livestock pen to pet all of our animals! Storing our items in the chests, we pick up our copper ingots and add some roe to the preserves jars.
In the farmhouse, we interact with our son and clear the indoor garden of produce! Then, we check the television and the calendar! It is Willy's birthday today, so we take out a gift of a diamond for him and teleport to the beach. After giving him the gem, we also buy some bait and crab pots from him!
On the way into town, we speak to Elliott and dig up some artefact spots! We also meet Sam in town. At her house, we speak to Emily and ignore her sister, just like how she ignored us when we first moved to Pelican Town! We head to the general store and speak to Jodi.
We check the trash can outside of Alex's house, and the lid flies off with a loud explosion! We are a little startled and surprised. I guess we have three garbage hats now! We wear the garbage hat as a fashion symbol before speaking to Alex, who seems truly heartbroken.
After buying some pancakes from Gus, we decide to go up to the witch's hut to wipe Alex's memory! At the train station, we chop down a few pine trees. We offer a few thousand gold to the shrine and leave through the portal to the wizard's tower!
In the Cindersap forest, we chop down a few more trees and forage for some summer plants! We return to our farm to store our items. We keep the garbage hat safely in our dresser before heading to the greenhouse to pick some mushrooms and fruits! We also collect our jade stones from the crystalariums.
It is turning to night soon, and we are quite curious to see what the volcano has in store for us today! We keep away our items and take some spicy eel before teleporting to Ginger Island. At the island farm, we harvest some mangoes and bananas before going to the volcano with the help of the parrots!
Noticing a cluster of rocks with many veins of ore, we place down a mega bomb on level 1! On the next level, we encounter our first gate which is easily unlocked with the push of a single button. On level 4, we also find a gated door! How unlucky.
On level 7, we find that the exit is blocked behind a gate that requires 3 buttons! It seems that the volcano really does not want us here today. After pushing all the buttons, it is already past midnight! Dang it.
Fortunately, we manage to sprint through level 8! Level 9 also turns out to be quite a simple floor to navigate! We collect our grand prize of a single ostrich egg from the rare chest. With an hour to go, we quickly make our way out of the volcano and get on our horse to return home!
