Super Arabian Famicom / NES CRT TV Playthrough asmr
5Released 7/25/1985, Super Arabian for Famicom is a port of Sun Soft's arcade game from 1983, Arabian. This first entry in a long line of bangers from Sunsoft on the Nintendo console has you traversing caves, palaces, and ships to save a princess. The gameplay seems to provide a transition stage between traditional arcade games and console platformers, and we can see its influence on Super Mario Bros. in the invincibility power up. Though this game never made it to the NES, it probably would have done pretty well.
I am considering a playthrough to be beating the Hi Score. I played on an original NES with a Game Genie adapter (see Shorts) to allow for playing a Famicom cartridge. I am using a NES Advantage controller, RCA cables, and a Sharp X-Flat 27" CRT TV.
