Road Fighter Famicom / NES CRT TV Playthrough asmr
3Released 7/11/1985, Road Fighter for Famicom is a nice port of Konami's top-down racing arcade game. Though released on Famicom and PAL NES, this game would never make it to the NTSC NES. My guess is this game would have been considered too dangerous as it involves intentionally side-swiping cars on the highway. While difficult, practice helps, and recovering from a skid by turning in the opposite direction proves to be an essential tactic. While I am not a fan of top-down racing games, this one plays pretty well.
Before Street Fighter there was Road Fighter!
I am considering a playthrough to be going through all four courses on Level 1. I played on an original NES with a Game Genie adapter (see Shorts) to allow for playing a Famicom cartridge. I am using a NES Advantage controller, RCA cables, and a Sharp X-Flat 27" CRT TV.
