Track & Field [Hyper Olympic + Hyper Sports] Famicom / NES CRT TV Playthrough asmr
Released 6/21/1985, Hyper Olympic for Famicom would later be combined with Hyper Sports (9/27/1985) and ported to the NES as Track & Field. Though Konami's arcade original had a standard joystick and button layout, its release on the Family Computer came bundled with a special peripheral controller.
Personally, I don't see how anyone could play this game without the NES Advantage. As a general rule of thumb, any NES/Famicom game that originated in the arcades is best played with the Advantage, although we will soon see a notable exception to that rule. The sound and gameplay are exceptional, and Chariots of Fire fans will recognize the music instantly.
I am considering a playthrough to be beating the Hi Score. I played on an original NES using a NES Advantage controller, RCA cables, and a Sharp X-Flat 27" CRT TV.
