The cheapest cut with the most flavor | budget steak tip!
This has been a favorite cut of mine for years! It’s one that brings the flavor every time and is always cheap! You can buy it on its own or break down a chuck roast for it as well!
No matter how you buy it, it’s going to be the best bang for your buck hands down!
Now this steak requires a little bondage, so if you aren’t familiar with how a butchers knot works, here is how to do it!
1. Cut the string to about 1.5-2 feet depending on the size of the cut.
2. Start to wrap it around the steak, and bring the cut ends close to you and cross them for form an x. Use your thumb and index finger to hold it in place.
3. Take the string that’s underneath, and loop it over the other, underneath, and then repeat once more!
4. You should have a loop where you are pinching, take the end of the string that you looped around, and put it through the top of the loop.
5. Then take both end of the string, and pull tight to secure the steak and this will help it cook evenly and hold its shape!
