The easiest way to elevate a Bratwurst or Italian Sausage! | Jalapeno Popper Sausage Boat #shorts

These are one of my favorite easy and fun recipes to make on the smoker!! But… you can also do this in the oven!
I’ve made these before with brats, but using Italian sausage this time was incredible!
Ingredients:
* 4 Italian sausages
* Cream cheese
* Sliced jalapeno
* Cheddar cheese
Instructions:
* Preheat the oven or smoker to 250°F!
* Grab the Italian suasage and cut a slit from the top to the bottom, but not all the way through. Then press out the sausage to for a canoe/ boat shape!
* Add a slice of cream cheese and sliced jalapeños to the inside of the boat, and top that off with some sliced cheddar cheese.
* Toss them in the oven or smoker on a wire rack for 45 minutes or so, then raise the heat to 300°F for about 15 more minutes to get the casings crispy as well as that cheddar on top!
