I went into a cave that was suggested to me and I was able to find some Ash Ghouls to soul trap. I grabbed two in case he needed an extra one. Skink was grateful but not enough to reward me. I'm wondering if there is such a thing as Argonian boots and would Skink's skin look good on them. He was saying something about an ordinator being transformed into a vampire and then being cured of it. I am to search if this was documented and bring him the papers.

I was told that the Vivec library might have what I'm looking for, but I wasn't having any luck in finding it. So I decided to search the rooms where ordinators stayed in and after a while, I noticed a trapdoor in one of the rooms. I chameleon'd myself and broke into the trapdoor only to find out that there was a secret library. This must be where some banned books must be at! I managed to find a copy of the book Skink was looking for and I took it. I gave the book to Skink and to my surprise, he was thankful and gave me a whole lot of nothing for it. I'm gonna remember this. I asked for the next task and he told me I was not ready and needed to raise my rank. I left the guild because everyone there was hitting a wall in terms of progression but I found a master nearby.

She was patient enough to teach me and I was strong enough to handle whatever came next despite my lack of magic use. Skink then handed me a letter which could be condensed to me being named Arch-Mage. I am to travel to Vivec and hand the letter to Trebonius. A short trek later I handed the letter to Trebonious and he seemed disappointed but shook my hand and thus I was made head of all of the Mages guild in Vvardenfell. Trebonius holds the title as well but no longer has a hand in any decisions.

I thought now would be a good time to find Gentleman Jim Stacey, the leader of the Thieves Guild. I heard he resides in a library. The one near the temple couldn't be it and I saw no doors or trapdoors in the bookshop that Khajiit ran. So it has to be the one in the waistworks near the aqueducts. I made my way into the bookshop and broke into the door behind the shop to finally meet the man himself. Rather than introducing himself, he pulled out some gloves.

Bal Molagmer was a group of thieves from the 3rd Era that took from the corrupt and gave to the needy. Jim wants to recreate that group again and tells me that I should wear these gloves whenever I am performing a job that is from the Bal Molagmer. I am not opposed to doing this as this can ease the natives of Vvardenfell to like and perhaps appreciate the thieves' guild and not trust the Camonna Tong. My first job was to find an Amulet that belonged to a farmer and steal it back from the taxman who took it.
