Jim asked me to check on someone in Vivec. Nads is his name and seemingly is late on a task so I'm supposed to check and figure out what's going on. I found him in his room dead. I took the key he had on him assuming thats the key Jim is waiting for. Upon my return and handing over the key Jim asked me to link up with Percius over in Ald'ruhn since he has info regarding some members of the Fighters Guild.

I had forgotten about Percius! In all my time with the fighters guild and despite being told to see him for tasks I completely forgot about him! Seeing that Percius is working with the Thieves Guild I assumed he has a plan to end the conflict between the two guilds with no and/or little bloodshed. I raced over to Ald'ruhn and spoke with Percius. He told me that Hrundi has a lover and if we can find her, Hrundi should be willing to turn against Sjoring. Eydis worships Clavicus Vile, a Daedric Prince of Bargains. This information is a bit odd for me to take in but Jim may have use for it.

Sjoring, unfortunately, is still a lost cause. Percius suggests ending him. I'm still willing to believe that there is a solution to this so I went back to Vivec and gave Jim all the info he wanted to hear. Jim then sends me to find an artifact called "Bitter Cup" which is a Clavicus item. This could convince Eydis to turn on Sjoring if I manage to sell her on the idea. After a long walk and swim I found the ruins where this artifact was in and was assaulted by the undead. One of them wore a powerful ring that nearly ended my journey! I was blown away by this ring's power. I took the Bitter Cup and made my way to Balmora and it took no effort to convince Eydis when I flashed the Bitter Cup.

Even she realized that it wasn't a good idea to have two imperial guilds at each other's throats. I was satisfied and ran back to Jim to see what more awaited. I could either try to convince Hrundi to join our cause or I could find his lover and blackmail him into joining. Despite me working for Hrundi I'm not entirely sure if he was reasonable. Either way, I swam to Sadrith Mora and asked around town. Sure enough, I found the lover girl at a bar, Falena. They're both saving up money to get away from Vvardenfell. I felt awful tracking her down. I confronted Hrundi and I made him aware that I knew of his lover. He agreed to fight against Sjoring.

Jim then asked me to take down two Camonna Tong enforcers. I should be prepared for a deadly encounter.
