The #SuperOldGameSaturday Dreamcast Racing Showcase

We have an annual custom for Thanksgiving weekend here on #SuperOldGameSaturday, where we reflect the feasts and myriad things to do and people to see with a showcase program filled with multiple games within a genre. This year, on the request of DollyFinn, we're dedicating our 3rd annual Thanksgiving showcase show to racing games on Sega's final console, the Dreamcast. I love this system and with this one show, we're filling a gaping hole of our minimal coverage of this system with 20 racing games across all styles, eras and types that were available on this system. Below are the timestamps for each individual game (one of which you may question "how are we playing THIS?", but you'll see), which include games I've been requested (including ones that Nocturne and DollyFinn wanted to see), games I've been dying to show off for a while now and even a donation provided by TheCrochetNerd64. As is always the case for this annual program (which is one of my favorites to do each year), we play these games for a few minutes before moving onto the next one as a bit of taste of them, but they ARE open to future revisits on future shows (there are a few I want to come back to, in particular) and it made for a terrific and jam-packed 6 hours of classic racing gaming goodness. I thank DollyFinn once again for making this request, TheCrochetNerd64 for the donation and for the chat on this show, while welcoming any future suggestions for what genre and/or games we cover for next Thanksgiving's show in the comments below.
