Well, that was unexpected. I made a proclamation that the only chance I'd have to finish killer7 in less than 7 streams would be if I somehow MAGICALLY managed to transpose my plans for progress from the previous week into this third week of streams... and somehow, I'm actually right on target. In fact, I actually managed to make it just a little bit further than the plan would've called for. Whether or not this bears any fruit in the long run, but it is at least encouraging.

Of course, most of the credit has to be given to the fifth mission for that one... or "Target 04", as the game refers to it. Honestly, the numbering in this game makes it a little difficult for Dari and I to communicate at times. I understand that the game is numbered from "00" to "06" in terms of its overall structure, which means that I consider "Target 00" as the "first mission". But when Dari attempts to give me some kind of info, mixing up the terms "target" and "mission" has led to some wild shenanigans.

Target 04 -- or "Mission 5", for those of you playing at home -- was an absolute blast to play through, even if it was really heavy on the cutscenes. I'm a sucker for Tokusatsu parodies and this mission absolutely delivered in that respect. Seeing a more conventional anime-inspired artstyle through the cinematics in this area was interesting too, and when compared to the stuff present in "Cloudman", it reinforces the more experimental nature of the game.

I also made some spectacular headway into the sixth mission, wrapping up Part 1 and even progressing pretty far into Part 2. Dari seems skeptical that this guarantees that the next stream will be my last for the game, but at the very least, I think that the possibility has reemerged in full force. And sometimes, that's more than enough. I'll just have to see what happens on Thursday...
