In Warframe, I feel that we're pretty gated in terms of what we can do (at least comfortably anyway) without potatoes. Teralyst being one of the lower tier of the end game content feels like a good target to see how badly I can fare without potatoes, and by extension primes.

I have been planning to record this for a while now, and I'm about to make permanent changes to my loadouts. Hence why this exists now instead of any other time.

I decided to go with Volt, since I find the shield much more annoying to deal with. Things went sorta well until the final phase, where I couldn't do enough damage quick enough, the lures got destroyed, and I'm not too bothered to get another one. Volt being squishy doesn't help either.

Technically a capture is doable, simply begin charging the second lure when the Teralyst is about to die to minimise the damage the lure will take. Having said that, I'm not bothered to get a capture run. This setup is just not comfortable for a solo attempt without potatoes of any kind.

At the very least I know my contribution in a public squad amounts to something.

The reason I don't have potatoes installed is because those aren't easy to get. As a sorta newer player, I find it to be a big commitment to put it in a gear that I have no guarantee will work well for me for most of the game's content. But that's just me.

This was recorded before Fortuna 2.0 dropped on console if that matters. And if it's not obvious, this is on console.

I don't have a clear strategy going into this, nor did I do any practice runs beforehand. Hence why I did what I did, particularly when it does its homing quake thing. Didn't help alleviate the damage on the lures though.

I chose Lanka because it does the most damage without potato, although I haven't tried everything. Hystrix because it shoots fast, reloads fast, and I have no better choice in my arsenal. Sarpa for Shattering Impact. Taxon gives me resources when it dies.

I had my waybound focus nodes locked because this run was conceptualised before I unbounded them. And I feel it's a better reflection of what an even newer player may have in terms of their focus loadout.

Timestamps written lazily:

I'm not sure which is longer, the video or the description...
