[Armored Core 6] Ambushing G5 Iguazu & G4 Volta in one combo
Mission: Attack the Dam Complex [Alt]
The setups are tailored to each AC, not for both ACs.
CANNON HEAD (G4 Volta) is a really tough AC with over 16k health and over 2300 stability. HEAD BRINGER (G5 Iguazu) on the other hand, likes the corner.
These two will not stop moving and can dodge our attack even when we haven't angered them. This means landing any setup is multitudes of degree more difficult.
P/S: I don't think the damage done by the friendly MTs is enough to affect the setups.
00:00 - Chainsaw moment
00:11 - Iguazu : Assault Armour + Ashmead
==========
Making full use of Iguazu's corner habit.
00:44 - Iguazu : Double Trouble + Fist + 2 Pulse Cannons
==========
Chainsaw to overload ACS, then 3 punches to extend stagger. Between each punch we sneak in some pulse cannon bubbles.
01:08 - Iguazu : LCD + LCS + Fist + Pulse Blade + Kick
==========
For this setup, I wanted to reduce the damage done while building impact, hence why the different shoulder weapons.
01:38 - Volta : Double Trouble + Fist + 2 LCAs
==========
The chainsaw needs to connect fully, which is a chore by itself. 3 punches followed by 2 charged LCA laser cannons later and we barely eke out the damage.
02:13 - Volta : 2 Earshots + Fist + Double Trouble
==========
It helps if we can pin Volta against a wall, but not strictly required. Similar to the previous, the 3 punches are absolutely necessary.
02:43 Honorable mention
==========
A ridiculous setup with both of the strongest melee weapons. Even when backed by an ORBT drone, CANNON HEAD can still shrug it off.
I tried to purge the chainsaw for a 4 punches extension, but kept failing to time it properly. In the end gave up trying due the difficulty in landing the chainsaw in the first place.
A variation of this could still be possible, but the few that I've tried didn't work.
Recorded on a PS4, patch 1.06.01.
Equipments to note:
+VE-20C generator (128 energy weapon specialisation + high EN output).
+BASHO arm (158 melee attack specialisation).
Other parts are interchangeable, I simply pick parts that minimise the need to swap around when changing setups.
My personal rules are:
+ Not exceeding load limit.
+ Aim for true combo setups.
+ Aim for variety than just max damage setups.
Future patches will probably change stuff. Very likely will not do a follow up when it does.
