The fifth and final world of Bravely Default is by no means easy. For the first time, entire divisions are teaming up to take us down, rather than a band of three.

And that's not all! Once you make it through them, they all retreat to Eternia's Central Command. The grand marshal wants to test the vestal and her companions, to see if they have the strength for what lies ahead, so he's devised a gauntlet for us to deal with. Our familiar foes will be pulling out all the stops and attacking us in brand new ways. Strap in, folks!

First: Profiteur, Einheria, and Jackal. Their whole plan: Profiteur buys Large BP Drinks and Einheria and Jackal use the BP pool to throw out their hardest-hitting moves. Fun fact: for the player, a single large BP drink is 100,000pg! So Profiteur is really setting his cash on fire.

Second: Holly, Kamiizumi, Heinkel, and Kikyo. This team is all about defense, and boy are they good at it. Heinkel is the team's tank, Kamiizumi likes to mix offense and counter stances, Kikyo uses Utsusemi to negate a physical attack and uses Shippujinrai for offense you can't do anything about, and Holly casts Reflect on everyone. Cool times!

Third: Praline, Barras, Barbarossa, and Alternis. This team is all about physical offense. Praline will give everyone BP each turn, Barras throws out his favorite Strong Strike, Barbarossa has his debuffs as well as Double Damage and Amped Strike, and Alternis likes to use Dark Bane and Black Bane until his HP is low enough for Minus Strike. Quite the powerful group!

Fourth: Qada, Yulyana, Mephilia, and Ominas. Here's where the magic users have banded together. Qada can make the whole party weak to Fire damage, and Ominas and Mephilia cast intense fire spells. Yulyana, of course, does his thing with magic and attack. If they don't wipe you out in the first turn, you're done for in the second. And that's why I started cheating!

Fifth: Victoria, Khint, DeRosa, and DeRosso. This group focuses on status ailments, and by god, they're good at that. I gave them precisely one turn before deciding that, nope, that was enough for me, thanks. Debilitating status effects, plus Victoria's ability to exploit them, meant I'd rather cheat.

Finally: Artemia, Khamer, Victor, and Braev. The final fierce foursome are, well, overwhelming. Khamer has Hasten World, which means everyone gets BP every turn, so everyone can throw out their most powerful attacks. Victor uses Moderation to bring everyone's BP closer to 0, Artemia uses Multiburst, and Braev likes to do, well, Templar things. I dunno, one turn was enough for me.

And our grand prize for clearing this whole ordeal is Braev saying, "You can do it!" Great. Thanks.

With that done, all that's left is the ending. Well, endings. Fun times ahead!
