What if an Iowa-class battleship met up with 3 Kirov-class battlecruisers?

As long as the Iowa can survive the barrage of ASMs, it can then pound the Kirov into dust with the 16 inch guns... As long as it doesn't get hit by torpedoes.

With radar and ESM mast raised, we noticed the 3 Kirovs immediately started popping ASMs, but a few at a time. We just swat them with the CIWS and chaff, while crossing their T with our big guns. The problem is among the 3 Kiov's they have like 90 of those big ASMs, and just two of them can kill us.

I immediately salvo'ed every Harpoon I got (16x) toward the enemy but the S-300 Naval SAM on the Kirovs are too good, as they defended each other. Adding the TSAMs did not make a difference.

I then noticed 2 of the ships headed toward me while a third decided to run off, but at a very slow speed. No matter.

I engaged one of the two heading toward me, taking care to present as little frontal profile as I can, but still have all 9 guns engage the same target. It took a while, but one cruiser went down, then another. I went to flank ahead to chase down the third, having taken a couple near misses so hull is down to 50%. But by this time they are out of the ASMs.

I was at flank speed when I saw the torpedoes coming up along either side, both in snake pattern. My Nixie was damaged so it's down to decoy only. I charged between them splitting the difference, while dropping decoys out the back. Fortunately both were taken by the decoy, as I entered a series of hard turns which, when combined with the decoys, manage to run one torpedo out, while the other was eventually distracted into heading north toward nothing.

I slowed to 20 kts and aligned so all three turrets are firing, and the remaining Kirov took a hit and is smoking, and that's when I noticed I still have 7 TASM left. So I launched them all at the Kirov. One by one they were intercepted ty SAMs, but two were left when they ran out of room, and one hit the ship, which was enough to sink it.

And we're done. We sank 3 Kirovs with just an Iowa class battleship.

Now, I wonder if I can send 1 Iowa against like 4-5 Svedlovs...
