Dawn of War 2 Gameplay and Performance on Ubuntu 14.04 64bit! Wine is finally able to run DoW2.

Timeline:
2:40 - Beginning of windowed-mode gameplay.
10:50 - Beginning of fullscreen gameplay.

It runs in a clean Wine prefix without a hitch. If you get the Pink screens at the main menu or character avatars, then you need to disable Anti-Aliasing.

Note that this was one Wine 1.7.30. It may behave differently on future Wine versions.

To my surprise, it went from not even starting up before, to now being able to play the full game! We have WineHQ and SEGA to thank for that.

SEGA removed GFWL and added in Steamworks, which I think was the key to making it work for us.

For the professionals/veteran users of Wine, all you need is Wine 1.7.30 and the latest updated version of DoW2 combined with your proprietary drivers. The prefix is clean, there isn't any need for additional installations.

Note, you will need to disable Anti-Aliasing in-game. If it's enabled, you will get pink screens here and there stating vid memory is insufficient.

WARNING: I have no idea if this works for AMD and Intel graphics users. This may only work for Nvidia users. Please share your experience in the comments so others know.
