XCOM Enemy Unknown is out for Linux natively! Here's some gameplay with the frames per second showing natively on Ubuntu 14.04 64bit, with medium settings at 1920x1080.

Another FireAxis/2k game on Steam has been released for Linux/SteamOS! This time though, it was ported by Feral and they've done a splendid job!

Highly recommended that you watch this in 1080p or at least 720p for clarity.
I decided to play XCOM Enemy Unknown solely on my laptop to showcase the performance quality (on top of recording the screen AND mic through the same laptop! no easy feat on any computer's resources).

The FPS OSD you see on the top left is from VoglPerf. I modified the source code, with help from Mike Sartain on Github, to get it to look the way it does.

At the time of this video, XCOM and ALL it's DLCs are on a massive sale (Steam SUMMER SALE!). Buy it now, and help directly support Feral for porting the game for us!
