Dead Island is a zombie survival game recently released for Linux and it's native! Here's some gameplay with the frames per second showing natively on Ubuntu 14.04 64bit [NVIDIA and AMD], and SteamOS. Only Nvidia is with maxed settings at 1920x1080.

Straight to the point, this is a very well done port. It runs on all my systems. However, it doesn't seem to properly support the 360 controller.

As expected, the performance on the AMD side is not the best. It is however playable, which is a big step up from the initial Witcher 2 experience from before.

If DeepSilver go down this path, we could see them rise to the ranks of Feral and Aspyr!

The FPS OSD you see on the top left is from GLXOSD. Instead of VoglPerf, GLXOSD now does the job better and has Steam support thus I utilize it instead.

This video is divided into 3 parts. The first is gameplay on my main Intel+Nvidia gaming system. The second is on my AMD machine which also runs Ubuntu 14.04 and SteamOS.
