Sadly this is not a former or current map record, and that is because this map is a much greater difficulty spike. Playing casually for this is still pretty hard, but speedrunning this has made it by far the hardest overboard level for me. I doubt the difficulty spike was intended to be this way, but I would personally go with the fact that map 5 is harder than map 6.

Mouldy bases this mysterious island around a ritual of 3 arch viles, that descends into madness. It's the same old twist but it's much harder. Luckily Mouldy has halved the health of the cacodemons that spawn after you kill 2 arch viles, meaning that it becomes much more manageable. However, you're probably wondering, where was the last arch vile?

Mouldy here uses an excellent moment to capture the arch vile, trying to escape. He even detailed the briefcase, which makes it out to be pretty funny in my opinion. Guess that makes Mouldy good at making jokes that work within fairly serious maps.

And yes, this took me 400 attempts to beat. I didn't expect the difficulty to spike up significantly, which caused me a big shock when i tried to beat this map. For the love of god, I couldn't get under 3 minutes when speedrunning. Maybe it's my technique and my art of combat in this map that makes me slower, but I don't really want to attempt this level again in speedrunning.

However, this is by far the best level the set has to offer in my point of view. The scenery is unique as you enter and fight in an upside down world. And not only that but the combat is top dog stuff! This is by far the best map overboard has to offer!
