I'm not going to repeat the blurb for the last map on how I felt during this run because wow. This run was ridiculous for me. To beat a map record by 11 seconds is pretty insane on my standards, and for that reason I will never attempt this map again. So to those who wanna try and beat this, there you go. I will not reclaim this map record after this run has been uploaded.

As of the video being public, the record is now sub 2. To those wondering, I will not try and beat this for a while, maybe in a couple months in the future when I plan on redoing my previous runs.

This took me 2 and a half real life hours to get, and using the optimal tricks I found along the way must've really helped me save time. The arch vile jump specifically saved me around 2 seconds from previous times.

Thank you to the doom community for the motivation into this run; specifically one runner who managed to beat my 2:17 time. Stuff like this is what I love about the doom community. I didn't feel any pressure to do these runs by any other members, it was all fairly calm and with no rush. Everyone there was supportive of my determination into speedrunning these maps.

Let's see if anyone can beat this time, because I doubt I will ever reach a point where I can overtake this (maybe unless I grinded for hundreds of attempts).
