Currently, this has to be done on a Minecraft server as World Edit for Forge/Minecraft single player isn’t out just yet. What is World Edit 1.15.1? Well, World Edit is the best way to build large structures in Minecraft. It allows you to copy and paste builds in Minecraft 1.15.1 in addition to rotating them, building large walls, circles, pathways, and so much more. If you are a builder, World Edit is a must have, so let’s go ahead and jump right on into how you can download and install World Edit in Minecraft 1.15.1 on a server.
First and foremost, you will need to setup a Bukkit, Spigot, or Paper server for Minecraft 1.15.1. This is because we are installing the World Edit plugin on a #Minecraft server. For that, you will need to start a Minecraft server. You do not, however, need to port forward that Minecraft server as all you do not need your friends to join your server. We have an in-depth tutorial on starting a Bukkit server in Minecraft 1.15.1 in the description above. Once you have your server setup, come back to this tutorial, and we will show you how to install #WorldEdit.
The first step of adding World Edit to Minecraft is actually downloading World Edit for Minecraft 1.15.1 servers. You can find the official download link for the World Edit plugin in the description above. Once you are there, click on the ‘files’ tab. You will need to confirm that this is in fact for Minecraft 1.15.1 by checking the version section. Once you do, click the download icon next to the version of World Edit for 1.15.1.
Now, it is time to learn how to install World Edit in Minecraft 1.15.1. This is a super simple process as long as you already have your Bukkit, Spigot, or Paper server setup. Just open up your server folder, open up the plugins folder, and drag-and-drop World Edit 1.15.1 into your plugins folder. Now, restart your server, and World Edit is installed! You can now jump in game and start using World Edit!
