How to Install Shared Games on STEAM Account (Best Method)
2Once you've been invited to and have joined a Steam Family, installing a game shared with you is a very straightforward process. The shared games will appear in your own library, just as if you owned them yourself.
Best Method: Installing a Shared Game
Open Your Steam Library: Launch the Steam client and navigate to your "Library" from the top menu.
Find the Shared Games: Your library will now show a combined list of all your own games and the games from your Steam Family. You can identify the shared games by looking for the name of the family member who owns it, which is usually indicated next to the game title.
Click on the Game: Find the game you want to install from your shared library.
Click "Install": Just as you would with any game you own, click the "Install" button on the game's page. The download and installation process will proceed as normal.
