Here's the step-by-step process:

Method 1: Change DNS Settings in Windows Settings (Recommended)
This is the most straightforward method and is sufficient for most users.

Open Settings: Press the Windows key + I on your keyboard to open the Settings app.

Go to Network & Internet: In the left-hand menu, select Network & internet.

Choose your connection: Click on the network adapter you are currently using for internet access. This will be either Wi-Fi or Ethernet.


Edit DNS settings: Scroll down to the "DNS server assignment" section and click the Edit button.

Change to Manual: From the drop-down menu, change "Automatic (DHCP)" to Manual.

Enter Cloudflare DNS addresses:

Turn on the IPv4 toggle.

In the Preferred DNS field, enter 1.1.1.1.

In the Alternate DNS field, enter 1.0.0.1.

(Optional) Add IPv6 addresses: If you're using IPv6, turn on the IPv6 toggle.

In the Preferred DNS field, enter 2606:4700:4700::1111.
In the Alternate DNS field, enter 2606:4700:4700::1001.

Save changes: Click Save
