We now come to Kaos Kore, World 7, the stronghold of K. Rool...and it won't be an easy journey, certainly!

To begin this, we have Konveyor Rope Klash, 7-1, set in a dark jungle. The gimmick for this one is the said conveyor ropes, which can be climbed like normal ropes but move the player left or right when they are on them. Of course, you can expect that the designers would combine them with plenty of buzzsaw bees, both moving and stationary, which pose the biggest threat in this stage. There is one jump in particular that I'm pretty sure I've never, and I mean NEVER, made without getting hit. I'm not even sure if it's possible to do so. This stage is yet another one that's significantly easier with Dixie, since she can helicopter-spin over many of the bees instead of just jumping over them.

7-2 is Creepy Caverns, which, as you could guess, takes place in a cave. (I wonder why it's spelled with a "C" when Konveyor Rope Klash was spelled with a K?) The thing that makes this one different is the ghost barrels. There are white barrels that disappear and reappear, often changing direction in the process. You'll often be either jumping into them to get places or *avoid* jumping into them to prevent being blasted right into a buzzsaw bee.

7-3 is called Lightning Look-Out...and I wish I hadn't had to end this video with it. Dear lord, this stage is annoying. It's a riverside one, which would normally be a good thing, but it didn't get the name "LIGHTNING Look-Out" by accident...throughout the entire stage, bursts of lightning come from the sky, first a small bolt, then a large bolt. The large bolt always comes down in the same place as the preceding small bolt, so the latter serves as a warning. The large bolts hurt when they hit, too...odd, do I smell burning monkey fur? Yikes. It's not all that easy to avoid the lightning bolts, either, since they somewhat home in on your position, even to the point where they appear ahead of you so you get zapped if you keep running forward. There are very few stages in this game that make me as nervous as this one does.

That's half of K. Rool's domain taken care of...only two more stages to get through, and we'll be ready to take on the big man himself!
