Let's Play Mega Man X3 - Part 4: Eye of the Tiger
Now that our two special bosses are out on the field, we move on to the third stage where I don't fight either of them, but I do die to the boss and have to redo the entire stage. Blah...anyway, Neon Tiger's stage seems to be some sort of jungle with a bit of a sunset theme to the background. I do him third because his stage contains the arm upgrade (though it requires the boots) and because you can get yet another easy Sub-Tank in this stage, as well as the first easily-accessible Heart Tank (though again, I think it might require the boots). The boss himself isn't too hard either, though his fight can definitely be a lot easier or harder depending on where he decided to attack from. He fires off sets of 5 little sparkly projectiles, and if he fires them from either of the bottom corners, all you have to do is stand on the opposite side of the room and jump over the third one in each volley. If he fires them from the top corners...well, I haven't quite figured out the best way to dodge those yet. He also blocks your shots when he's not firing, and he can drop on you if you're below him or come down at you diagonally if he's in the opposite corner. His desperation move is the one that gives him his name, but it's almost pathetically easy to dodge. His weapon is the Ray Splasher, which is a bit erratic, but an okay weapon, I guess.
