I'm certainly not a big fan of the enemies in this stage. Sprinklans are pretty awful. Yes, you can just kill them with a Tengu Blade dash (and only the dash), but oftentimes, they're just sitting at the edge of a ledge for a super long time which means you need to wait for them to get their bums off the ledge. I really don't have time for that so I just damage boost off of them. This is the same weakness Blast Wind has too. You can't activate it without sliding so enemies that block your sliding space are not great for you.

There's also Power Musclers which are weak to Salt Water which is a very slow weapon so Concrete Shot is the next best bet. Them hurting so much means using Blast Wind to damage boost past them is generally not a great idea. And because they're so big, using Tengu Blade to get past them usually won't work unless you try and get up real close which with the oil, wastes a lot of time.

You want to skip pretty much every Crash Man Platform/Guts Hover section in this entire stage. You can do so by using Concrete Shot in some spots. For those, you gotta be careful because for some reason, shooting too high makes the block appear on top of the ledge for some reason. I don't really get it. And then for other sections, you can use the good ol' CoilJet trick. Spawn Rush Coil, use Rush Coil, switch to Rush Jet and use it as soon as you land on the Rush Coil. A fun trick, albeit a bit tricky to get the timing down.

Oh and there's also the darkness gimmick. I suck at darkness gimmicks. I like to see. I believe seeing is believing. And I can't believe how bad I am at remembering room layouts when there's a darkness gimmick. It's really just me being a bonehead at the end of the day, but it's definitely something that makes doing a speedrun a bit harder for me.

This run beats the previous normal record, MystSvin's 2:12. For improvements, I botched a Concrete Shot and it ended up landing on top of the ledge I wanted to be on instead of on a wall. You want it to be on the wall. Secondly, I think my strats for getting around the enemies feels a bit slow. There's gotta be a better way to get past them, but I couldn't think of any while playing this.
