I hope you like ladders, because you're getting ladders. Traversing this unusually vertical level involves climbing dozens of them, which while in itself isn't exactly difficult (unless you have some inability to hold 'up' on the controller), there are Pipos on nearly every screen just waiting to fuck up your progress; get hit at the wrong time and you're going down a few screens. Predictably enough, Metal Blade does a fine task of keeping most of the bastards at bay.

Outside of that, it's a simple affair with no instant-death traps at all. Now if only Mega Man wasn't so damn slow at climbing; something which took two whole games for the developers to notice and rectify.

Crash Man, despite his ability to leap 20ft and hurl timed explosives all over the place, is barely worth mentioning; three hits from Air Shooter leaves me with the generally impractical but utterly necessary Crash Bomber.
