The older I get, the more I appreciate a "recap" feature for games. Saves me valuable description space recapping where we were last time! That said..."beelike creatures?" These are Kihunters! Samus fights them in like every game! She knows what they are!

The bulk of this video has us trudging through the rest of the Biosphere, on the way to the Exam area. Not much else to say up until we reach there. You know, aside from ANOTHER Grogranch. I uh...think they expect you to use that rail thing to fight it. Oh well!

As much as I might dock this game, I must admit the quick, quiet trek up the Exam tower has some great atmosphere. Music in the game is pretty understated, and here at least it sets up an ominous mood. Completely harmless, but going up there, you know SOMETHING isn't right. Looks like either security drones or cameras are littering the place, damage, and it's deathly quiet...

We find James got here ahead of us. Kinda odd he outran Samus AND the rest of his squad, isn't it? But now Maurice is here to shine and...tap away at a keyboard while we're off investigating. I hope you all enjoy that slow, plodding camera angle we entered this room in, cuz we're gonna be stuck in that for a bit. I get the feel they're going for, but this is Metroid, a faster and more action-packed Metroid, but still...this is no Resident Evil! Pull that camera back and let me move faster!
