Samus's Log: "During my time with the Galactic Federation, my comrades were often impressed with my Speed Booster ability. The way I would dash through foes, nothing stopping my charge. Of course, such mastery took practice. I was rather fortunate no one saw my fumbles when first gaining this ability. Truly an embarrassing sight. My reputation as a Bounty Hunter would be tarnished if word ever got out..."

Back from the dead! I apologize for this MASSIVE hiatus between episodes...real life happens sometimes! I work in a warehouse, and from August until...pretty much right now, I've been swamped with work during the week, and my weekends are mostly spent catching up with friends. I've made sure to record a surplus of Other M footage this time though, so I hope for no more delays until we get this thing finished off!

We begin with intrigue! Signs of Metroids? In the coldest sector of the Bottle Ship? Curious...Eh, I'm sure it's nothing. That said...how Samus could tell that thing died from a Metroid is beyond me. But if anyone would know, she would, I guess.

I haven't played this in months, so there's some rust to shake off here, as you'll see throughout this video and a bit more through the section. Sorry 'bout that.

As we continue to battle through the cold, we'll have to deal with water...the bane of any Metroid fan! I'm glad these sections are brief at least. We'll drain some water out of one area to flood another...but this leads to a near-fatal encounter with everyone's favorite enemy, Kyratians!

We'll end things with one of my personal favorite powers, the Speed Booster! Kinda annoying they make you run all that way then run back before Adam authorizes it though... Also, one of the few games to acknowledge the Shinespark technique. In past games it's FAR harder to pull off than it is here. It looks cool, I'll say that much!

Surely this will help with traversal! Except....there's rarely enough room to get the speed going. That or they put small bumps in your path that force Samus to slow down. Of course, that's a thing in pretty much ANY game where the Speed Booster exists; must be hard to balance I'm sure!

Onwards to....find that creature? I guess that's our mission?
