Red Alert 3 Uprising Commander's Challenges "Par Time only" - Mission 27th - Ready To Roll Out
Hello ladies and gentlemen! Stimer Games is here! I've finally started cooking some epic content to release. It's Red Alert 3 Uprising Commander's challenges, except with additional rules that i came up this Spring.
Rules of the challenge:
1.Go strictly by the path that is unlocked over time, no skipping and no leaping
2.Finish each secondary mission before coming onto the next primary mission
3.Always go for Par Time, never finishing the mission without par time and then finishing it under with the unlocked unit or the fully unlocked tech
4.OP tactics, AI manipulation and oversight exploits are allowed (Dojo Rush, Empire air units swarm, other map tricks and etc. are allowed)

Pacifier - Hard-Very hard (1 v 2; Allies (Douglas Hill); Fogged map) [Ready To Roll Out]
Alright it's time for another vertical spike in our graphic of successful missions. Meet the pacifier, the TIER 2 amphibious anti-infantry unit that can transform into an artillery that is even deadlier than Athena Cannon.
The mission itself has several pre-placed and pre-planted pacifiers on the map: 2 at the end of first bridges, 1 on the island near the player's island from each side and 1 at the island expansion for each side. Additionally, more pacifiers will spawn from the path near the Oil Derrick.
The opponent himself will also go for them as quickly as possible. From other units he'd also have Cryocopters, Riptides, and if you're going for air units - also Apollo fighters. So going air can be troublesome.
The strategy... even i'm not sure what the heckie i was doing all this time. The mission started with 2 Dojos going to each enemy base, so 4 Dojos produced in total. After them - 2 Powerplants were planted on the base as far away from the entrance as possible. When one of them has started unpacking - sold the MCV and captured the oil derrick.
Nano-Core's speed outspeeds the speed of Pacifier's projectiles, so you should only worry if they're going for a straight line. When they've reached the enemy's base i've placed them on both sides of Enemy's factory, both set to produce angry infantry, trained an engineer to both scare away the enemy MCV and capture the Armor Facility. Scaring the MCV is crucial or else he'd produce cryocopters who you'll not be able to deal with anyhow.
Once the MCV is moved onto the water, go for Harvesters and Refineries then for the rest of buildings. If you're lucky, you can disable the AI this way.
If you're not (you're probably not, so don't worry i have a back-up plan for that), then produce 1-2 Riptides, put infantries inside and go harrass enemy's harvesters and refineries. While the AI builds a refinery, attack the MCV to scare it away again, onto the dry land in the middle of the map. There unload your infantry and deal with it, and then get back to what's left undone. Only problem on the part with the dry land - 2 nearby pacifiers. You can, however, use riptide's fast speed to trick pacifier into damaging its own buildings.
So... the strategy is alright, right? not exactly... it still has 3 major plots where everything can go worse than a dark screen on recording: Nano-core could get destroyed/heavily damaged on the way to the base; Engineer may be brain dead and refuse to capture anything; or that the enemy manages to build a cryocopter that you simply can't take away.
Alright, so key units: Tank buster for ground anti-armor, engineer to grab the vehicle thing, and riptide as anti-armor on water and transport infantry around.
I'll be honest, but the Pacifier is a much better option when it comes to ground artilleries than Athena. It can't protect others, but it can protect itself from any infantries and light vehicles, and it's much deadlier as well. So... yeah, i'm sorry to all greece phone lady fans, but i prefer a hot cold-hearted killer male))
