This video starts in the basement of the Department Store where I had stopped recording. After coming out of the sub-basement, I was coming to the conclusion the RPG-7 stash I had remembered, was not in this location. There's only one other basement area and that was over at the Grocery Store
that I had already been to. However, I had neglected to look into the outside entrance to its basement, getting sidetracked by those Pseudodogs on the other side.

I decided I wanted to go out the other exit of the sub-basement I had not tried yet, so I returned to the sub-basement and quickly passed through it coming to the other end and climbing the ladder covered by wooden boards. I returned to the surface on the other side of an Apartment building facing my new destination, the Grocery Store. I went straight to the basement entrance and found a two-level basement with a chain link floor between them. It was easy to quickly spot the RPG-7 but I did not get a stash activation when I went to the lower floor and grabbed it. That meant I did not have everything. I went back up to the upper level and spied the OG-7V round, but I was unable to get it.

Using a trick that I had learned long ago for Call of Pripyat's unreachable objects, I used Demo_Record to reach and grab the item. Now it was mine and returning to the surface, it was already getting dark and not a place I wanted to be far from the safety of the Laundromat. I quickly headed east and did my best to avoid any mutants by cutting through the large Apartment complex outside my destination and was soon back to safety.

It's quite different being dark or at night in Pripyat compared to Zaton and Jupiter. Those places had very open scenery where you could hear and see men or mutants coming your way with plenty of time to flee or fight. Pripyat is the opposite. Large buildings, shrubs and trees everywhere, where your visibility is severely limited, making it a place you simply don't want to have a Bloodsucker or Pseudodog leap out and grab or bite before you can even react. Simply put, after dark I'm staying indoors for now at the Laundromat. With limited supplies, especially ammo, I can't afford to do risky night operations no matter how good my firepower is.
