I wanted to do the Unidentified Weapon mission at the Hospital without dying. I thought it would be harder than it turned out to be in this video. This time I went to where exactly I was supposed to stand with the Captain. We waited for the right time to ambush the three Monolith that came out. I did not go out to loot them but waited and sure enough the Monolith came out in numbers.

This time I knew exactly where the Monolith Gauss Gun sniper would appear. I was ready to take him out as soon as possible. I shot the hell out of him, but he did not fall, and only because I was being pounded by fire from all the other Monolith, did I focus on them to stop their advance and heavy fire. Most of the Monolith were advancing across the courtyard and were most likely going towards the stairs to come and get us from behind. Only one Monolith was using the connection passage between the two wings.

I did not forget about Monolith Gauss Gun sniper, and as soon as I stopped the immediate nearby threats, I went back to him, and my second barrage of gunfire brought him down. This seems to have greatly helped as he was no doubt who would be in the best position to kill my team. This time the Captain survived and the Lieutenant below us. There was an eerie silence after it was over, and I kept waiting for another wave. Only after when I left my position and crossed the passage with my Mini-Map not detecting any more Monolith did I realize we had won and only lost two men. I never thought the man on the water tower with the SVU was going to survive. He was just too exposed and if I was the Monolith Gauss Gun sniper, that is who I would shoot first.

I counted 18 Monolith in all among the dead. 10 dead in the courtyard and first floor. 6 on the second floor, couniting the Monolith Gauss Gun sniper who had fallen there from above, and 2 more on the roof by the stairwell going there. I was immensely pleased this had only taken one more try and I was not killed and two of my team survived. This time I looted everything, getting the bulk in the first two trips back to the Laundromat and a third trip for all those leftover pistols and vodka. Maybe I shouldn't have used Hercules the first two trips but there is always that fear of bodies vanishing before you can loot everything.

I noticed it was the sergeant who was killed on the water tower and the warrant officer in the room on the first floor. The higher rank Lieutenant and Captain survived with me, which is usually how it goes for the Military in real life. I was very happy with this outcome and did not feel the need to try again or have the expectation I could keep all my team alive if I tried again. When I got back to the Laundromat the first time is when I noticed Gary had arrived and I focused on that conversation before going out again. The last part of this video is talking to Colonel Kovalsky, and it ends when he wants me to go check on the missing squad who it sounds like were all killed on the radio.
