Splatoon 3: Holding the turf in Nessie Splatfest [11-2, Range Blaster]
I like the Range Blaster on Undertow Spillway. The angles and ledges seem to work well for it. I still have to ink turf in a Splatfest, which the Range Blaster is not great at, but I do my best. Dodging out of the way of a Hammer gets me a lucky splat, sorry about that, but also places me in an awkward position. It's no surprise to see the Dynamo Roller up on the ledge.
The Roller has dropped down when I return, which is nice of them to give me a fat target, and I try to find the Clash Blaster popping everywhere. I think I hit them once, but don't have a good bead. Never mind, the Hammer is a big target, particularly from the back. The Dynamo Roller has returned to be back on the ledge, where I'm happy to splat them, but I have to run away from the Clash Blaster. Or, I mean, improve my optimal range. I return when my range has been improved by a squidmate, only to get splatted by the Splash-o-matic instead.
The battle looks fairly even from the map, but improved as I move forwards, with more green turf ahead of me. I help a bit, splatting the Clash Blaster, and poke my nose forwards. I track back, though, as an alien inkling is trying to break past, and when they are caught by a squidmate, and I am once again hassled by the Splash-o-matic, I decide it's better to stick to my strengths and simply hold the central turf. A Wave Breaker helps, as does their Tacticooler. I use a pillar for protection and the blaster to hit at range. It works out really quite well. Woomy!
