Here's an early look at Super Freaks 1 Ultimate Edition, the upcoming definitive version of my 2006 game. Here's some of the new features you can expect:
- Multiple resolutions support, including ultrawide
- Slightly touched up gameplay and levels
- Several new levels
- Two player co-op, New Super Mario Bros. style (including the bubbles!)

As the original game is a VERY simple one, I'm trying to finish this before the end of the year, and given how fast it's coming along now I think I'll succeed. I basically restarted this from scratch and have been building the engine alongside the game, so it's been preventing me from getting scope creep and thinking "hm, maybe I should add this fancy new thing" and endlessly delaying this further. When this is done I intend to use the engine to make some other games, since it's been very easy to work with!
