#SuperOldGameSaturday - Game Dev Tycoon (Finale) + Felix the Cat & Castlevania Dominus Collection

We finished the main playthrough of Game Dev Tycoon for Nintendo Switch here on #SuperOldGameSaturday last month, but this part is the Finale, because there was one mode we didn't look at before and I felt it was worth a look to go all the way on this industry simulation from Greenheart Games. The mode in question is Pirate Mode, a far harder option that causes your game sales to be reduced by people pirating your creations and introduces copyright protection methods to mitigate that, along with new situations that are based on real events. We didn't play this mode entirely, but we played until I either went bankrupt or reached the next office. Which way did we end our time with this game? Well, you'll need to watch to find out, but since either outcome would have resulted in a short show, I decided to pull out a preview of two recently released classic game compilations from Konami as a bit of a bonus, those being the Felix the Cat collection and, as a pre-Halloween block starter, the Castlevania Dominus Collection. Timestamps for all of the games we looked at are below, but myself and the best chat on Twitch (including the person I fired last part, it must be said) went deep, including our final thoughts, insights and creations for Game Dev Tycoon, our history of Castlevania and Felix the Cat, some famous licenses and names that went with this show and even a bit of tech troubleshooting, but thankfully, without issues on the final recording. I'm sorry it took so long to complete Game Dev Tycoon (and for other things I discussed last part), but I had a great time playing it and living up to our promise of never leaving our games permanently hanging and also, giving you more than what you expect.
