Hey friends! Mega Maker 1.6 is upon us, so what better way to test all the new 1.6 features than an extended video? Everyone loves videos they have to set aside an entire afternoon to watch, right?

Hahah, I don't like to do these huge videos too often, but I figured 1.6 releasing is a good excuse for it. The Mega Maker community has been waiting for 1.6 for what seems like forever now, and let me tell you -- it was worth the wait! The new 1.6 features are SO COOL, and I think the tools they added in this release are some of the best since I started playing Mega Maker.

I can't even pick a favourite new gimmick, although that fire wall really stands out among the pack. I have a feeling people are going to do gross and obscene things with that fire wall... we barely scratched the surface in this video, haha.

My favourite new feature of 1.6 is definitely the multiplayer level creator though -- that just has so much potential. For all you SMM2 fans out there, please forgive me -- I did not know that they also had multiplayer level creation and I kind of gave the MMM team a bit too much credit on being truly original, hahah. Nonetheless, this is a great addition that I think reinvents level design engines in a way. There's always been people willing to collab, it just used to be clunky to send a level back and forth between them and make small changes at a time. With this, you literally just open up a lobby and start making levels with friends, it's crazy! Subscriber co-op level design stream sometime soon?

Anyways, I hope you enjoy the extended video friend. The good news is the recording went perfectly! Not a single hiccup in the footage, which gives me good hope for this new laptop. I think my issues might have been related to the settings I had OBS on the first time I tried to record, or at least that's what I'm going to keep telling myself so I don't have a panic attack every time I record about whether or not the footage is still rolling. And the editing process went swimmingly as well! It's amazing what a difference it makes to the willpower I have for struggling through editing to have a responsive computer that I can use while lying down on my bed. Good things coming this way friends, as my old Hallmark manager used to say, I'm in it win it this time around!
