Hey friends! How you been? I'm doing well, just chillin over here... maybe a little too chill though. I feel like it's been a solid week or two since I've done any one thing. Do you ever feel like that? I get into those modes sometimes... Sometimes no things are much more appealing to me than any one thing or the other.

But you can only do so much no things before you accidentally do a thing or two. So I did this thing! And I guess that means I'm back from my no-things-ever haitus.

Sorry for the lack of videos lately friends... I don't have a good excuse or anything, I just get like that sometimes where I just want to abandon all my responsibilities for a short while and reset. I'm fortunately at a sweet spot in life where I can do that every once in a while, and it really does feel nice to just cleanse the palette of anything that remotely resembles a task or objective and bask in the peaceful nothingness that remains.

I would probably still be doing nothing if I didn't accidentally learn something. I was watching a YouTube video about those little diamonds you see on the side of hazardous containers that have numbers in them. It explained what they all mean -- the numbers are intensity ratings from 0-4, and the diamonds of different colors represent different hazards that the chemicals inside the containers might pose. The red diamond shows how flammable it is, the yellow diamond shows how reactive it is, and the blue diamond shows how unhealthy it is.

I've looked at those diamonds for a lifetime and never really bothered to think about it much. That's the kind of stuff I love learning out of nowhere. I'll probably never use it, but whatever, it's still nifty to know. I guess if I ever have to use it I'll be happy I know it at least. That seems like the kind of information you might not worry too much about until it becomes really, really relevant to your immediate situation.

Anyways, that little spark of "hey, I just learned something new and made a minor progression as a person" kicked off my intolerance for overly extensive laziness and got me off my butt to record some Mega Man Maker and clean up around the house a little. The brain works in such a funny way, especially thought processes. Something seemingly unrelated can kick off a progression of events that don't even seem connected by the time they're through. One thing leads into another and again. I wonder what this event might kick off for you? Thanks for stopping by friends.
