This video shows Champions of Regnum gameplay natively on Full settings at 1920x1080 (fullscreen) on Ubuntu 12.10 64Bit.

Although it shows Medium settings in-game, I've manually set the game's settings in game.cfg. This is because, whenever I attempted to change the game's settings from inside the game itself, it would just crash. Crashed enough times that I got my first account banned "User is disabled", with no e-mail for further clarifications, which sucks.

Regnum has long had a Linux client, but this version is a revamped edition. It's also now available in Steam, with purchaseable starter packs.

I forget to show the FPS counter in the first gameplay video, so later on in the video (past 10:00) I add another gameplay video with the FPS counter enabled so you can see the performance I'm getting in-game.

I had to disable "Unredirect Fullscreen" in Compiz Config Settings Manager to record this game, otherwise the recording would flicker. Oddly enough, I didn't see any performance loss with it on or off.

I added a small video at the end, guiding you on how to edit the game.cfg file to configure your game's settings outside of the game itself. Such as how to go windowed-mode or fullscreen mode, or to change the resolution manually.

Champions of Regnum is FREE to play, so give it a shot. You might find you like it. Just be wary though, NGD are pretty ban-happy. They can ban you at any time without letting you know why.
