Cubemen Gameplay on Ubuntu 12.10 Linux (Native)
This video shows Cubemen gameplay natively on Full settings at 1920x1080 (fullscreen) on Ubuntu 12.10 64Bit.
Cubemen is a 3D tower defense game. It's currently available for Linux, Mac and Windows. I play the Steam version in this video.
I give the "Defense" mode and "Skirmish" mode a go. Even though I was up against Easy A.I., I still lost in Skirmish mode.
Cubemen's main focus of gameplay is either you against the A.I. or you against other human players. Cubemen does not have any storyline. It's more of an action game in that sense. Instant action, instant gratification.
I had to disable "Unredirect Fullscreen" in Compiz Config Settings Manager to record this game, otherwise the recording would flicker. Oddly enough, I didn't see any performance loss with it on or off. Then again, I have no way to show actual framerate.
