This run was chaotic to say the least. Everything went very sideways and somehow it still ended up being a pretty decent run.

It all started when I failed to shotgun the hitscanners at the start. I then fail to kill the cacodemon in the next room as well as fail to get anything to infight at the blue key fight. That fight actually does get quite hard when none of the monsters want to cooperate with you.

Then there was the jump. I made it but was bombarded with assault rifle zombies. Afterwards I stumbled into a pickle! The arch vile woke up accidentally and i thought the run was done. With 4 lucky rockets I managed to kill the vile somehow. I have no idea how this worked but it did.

Afterwards, I got the last secret, killed everything else in the cavern and moved onto the last fight. This fight also went surprisingly bad. The mancubus moved too much and the assault rifle zombie failed to help infight. Therefore I had to kill everything myself with my own bullets. Somehow this miraculously worked in my favour as I had shaved many seconds off my previous time.

It was a bit of a meh overall. I could definitely do better, but really whether that’s my problem or yours, i’m not gonna change it. Expect the next map to be approached in a similar way, kinda laid back and not so worried about getting a record time. I quite like doing these runs since there’s no pressure. But there will be one exceptional run that does break a record.
