After my boat crashes into the dock of island, I climb ashore and explore. Looking for help, I locate a man whose voice I recognize from a distress radio call. He informs me that the island has been overrun by ... something. It's clear some soft of infection has turned people into blood thirsty zombies! But the Arque Corporation, who owns a facility on the island, is blocking radio transmissions from getting out. At least, getting out much further than the range of my boat before it crashed.
I agree to help find out what's jamming the transmission by traveling to the Arque facility. But plenty of zombies along the way prove hazardous as I'm only equipped with a pistol and the scraps of health I can find along the way. A quick train ride into town soon finds my venturing into tunnels and sewers before eventually arriving inside the Arque headquarters. But it seems there are more than just zombies roaming around inside.
I'll team up with a scientist who can assist with the technical work while I must protect myself from Arque's heavily armed security forces. Can we outsmart the special Ops to locate and shut off their transmission override?
This gameplay is from the full version of ACT 1. Before editing, overall gameplay was about 2 hours.
