How to Sign Out of Apple Music
Signing out of Apple Music on your iPhone is a simple process, though it’s not done directly inside the Apple Music app. Instead, you need to sign out of your Apple ID under the Media and Purchases section in your iPhone’s settings. Doing this will log you out of Apple Music and other services tied to your media account, such as the App Store and iTunes.
To begin, open the Settings app and tap your Apple ID profile at the top of the screen. In the menu that appears, tap on Media and Purchases. A small pop-up will appear—tap Sign Out.
Once you sign out, your Apple Music app will also be disconnected from your Apple account. This means you’ll lose access to your Apple Music library, playlists, and any downloaded music until you sign in again. If you open Apple Music afterward, it will prompt you to log in to continue using the service.
To confirm you’ve been signed out, you can tap Media and Purchases again, then choose View Account. After verifying your identity with Face ID or your passcode, you’ll see that Apple Music and other account-linked services are no longer connected.
It’s important to note that signing out of Apple Music on your device does not cancel your subscription. It only removes access from the current device, and you can sign in again anytime to restore your music and account data.
