How to Edit Commands as a Mod on Twitch (Nightbot, Streamlabs Chatbot, StreamElements, Cloudbot)
Stream bots allow the streamer and moderators to create custom commands. Twitch mods can edit existing commands to change the response.
The four most popular chat bots for Twitch are Streamlabs Chatbot, Nightbot, Streamelements and Cloudbot. Each bot allows users to create their own custom commands. Custom bot commands can be edited using the respective chat command.
Both the Streamlabs Chatbot and StreamElements bot use “!command edit”. Nightbot uses “!editcom”, and the Streamlabs Cloudbot command is “!editcommand”.
After typing the appropriate edit command for the bot, you will need to add a space then the command you want to edit. Followed with another space, then the new command response. The entire sequence needs to be as one Twitch message.
