At last, we come to the final stage of the game...Gate's Laboratory Stage 3, where Sigma lies in wait. Yes, I said Sigma...apparently, Gate resurrected him or something. (WHYYYYY?!...)

Of course, before worrying about Sigma, we still have to get through the rest of the stage first. However, unlike the last two insane stages, the third fortress stage is actually really easy! It's divided into two parts; the first one consists of nothing but a few platforms and spiked walls, plus the boss refight portals. Every Mega Man game has them, and MMX6 is no exception. I decided to use the Nightmare Investigators' weaknesses on them just to make it go quicker (except Infinity Mijinion, who is pretty much impossible to beat quickly with or without his weakness). After beating all eight of them, a portal to the second half of the stage appears. The second half actually has some enemies in it, unlike the first half, but it's still easy enough. The second half ends in double doors leading to Sigma.

Ah, Sigma, the big man himself, who never ceases to cause trouble for poor Mega Man X...and considering his boss battles, never ceases to cause trouble for poor Mega Man X players either. In almost every game in the series, the fight with Sigma is too frustratingly difficult to even be any fun. In X6, however...well, Sigma got beaten up pretty badly in X5, and it shows. This is the easiest final boss battle in the series, hands down. In the first part of the battle, during which his weakness is the Metal Anchor, he just walks back and forth slowly, stopping every now and then to fire off one of his attacks (small fast orbs, large crescents, and the like). In the second part, he transforms into a huge golden form (what is it with him and gigantic bodies anyway?) and creates green blob enemies that can be destroyed. When he opens his mouth, he fires a HUGE green laser or a purple orb that splits, and he is vulnerable only when his mouth is open. He is weak to the Ground Dash in this part, but you don't need it (and, in fact, *not* using seems to be the best course of action). All you need is a good slashing weapon...such as the Blade Armor's Z-Saber, which can make mincemeat of Sigma pretty quickly. Thanks to him having next to no invincibility period, any weapon that can remain in contact with him for an extended period of time works well for defeating him. Defeat Sigma...yes...YES...destroy him...kill him...sweet...lovely...REVENGE!!! Ahahahahahaaaa!

...Ahem. There isn't really much else to say, honestly; I cut after beating Sigma, putting the endgame cutscene and credits sequence in a separate video. Sorry for the abrupt end, but I didn't want overlap.
