While we’re given more than enough resources to deal with all the enemies we encounter, I always love it when infighting occurs between our foes. If an enemy is accidentally hit by the projectile of another enemy that’s different – unless said enemy is a zombie soldier, whereupon it can even be the same kind of zombie enemy that hit them – infighting will erupt. The enemy hit will turn their attention away from doomguy to the one that injured them and fight back until one of them falls. The survivor will often be weakened unless they were far stronger than their opponent, but even if the fighting was brief it meant that one of them was defeated without your input.
