YEAAAAH SLOWDOWN.

More cheesing the fuck out of things with Rush Jet. If by this point you still don't think that it's a gamebreaking utility, well... okay then.

Most of the first half involves nothing more than blasting the fuck out of Poles. No, not people from Poland, I mean those stupid little tadpole things. Then it's the first Doc Robot, under the guise of Flash Man... and this is where the giant hitbox goes against the player. I don't bother trying to jump over this tosser, just lining his stupid face with Needle Cannon usually does the trick before critical damage is suffered.

Immediately after is -- shock horror -- a potentially game-ending piece of level design. If you're the sort of retard who goes around Rush Coiling your way over even the most insignificant of pit drops and obstacles, then you just *might* see an end to your adventure, courtesy of no choice but to reset. Unless you have a second controller plugged in, but that's no "legit" way to play things.

Rush Marine finally gets some sort of use. Was it worth the wait? Not really. It's like Rush Jet, but less versatile. That's all there really is to say about this one.

Topping things off is an imitation of Bubble Man, and it was never going to be fought anywhere else because no other level has water. Much like in MM2, it turns out that playing like an idiot is still perfectly acceptable against him because the biggest threat is still jumping too high and headbutting the spikes. I don't know what it is about Spark Shock, but for some inexplicable reason during this run it was like something rushed into the room to close my eyes every time it was equipped. Maybe I should have actually closed them. I'd probably have been more accurate.
