[100% Upgrades]

Dragoon:
The much anticipated duel against the SA-X, don't get careless, stay on the move and on the defensive. Remember that it is less painful to suffer a screw attack than an Ice Beam shot, you may even find yourself jumping and screw attacking each other a few times. Speaking of which, I never knew the screw attack could evade the Ice Beam shots. Don't bother using missiles period, they do nothing and the SA-X can thaw out in mere seconds. Stick to continuous charged beam shots and always maintain a charge. Circling around the room and platforms is probably the best strategy to dis-allow it any chance to fire at you. While Omega Metroid is technically the final boss, this one feels more appropriate since it is more action intensive with 3 different phases. The grotesque, mutated SA-X is really easy despite the imposing figure it presents, it only tries to jump on Samus (sorta like Toad Man from Mega Man 4), platforms do not affect it, the ONLY place it cannot reach is the very top platform with the door to the Operations Deck where Samus can camp and fire downwards at the fiend. The Beam Core-X is just as dangerous as the SA-X in phase 1, I think collision damage is worse though, but make sure you strategically attack and then quickly jump away from its exchange.

Samus:
It retreated to the ventilation ducts... I wonder why the ducts are so battered and cluttered to close it off.

Dragoon:
X Parasites may have destroyed it after u blew off the hatch. It is likely that the SA-X entered the room through there as well and was waiting in the shadows for its prey.

Samus:
...

*After Beating Omega Metroid*

Samus:
I thought Missiles were the key to defeating Omega's...

Dragoon:
Interesting, practically a complete reversal from last time. But perhaps it is because you have combined beam armaments unlike last time where your arm cannon only supported one upgrade. The SA-X that arrived in the nick of time is likely the same one you fought recently (it could very well be the any number on the ship though...) since the Core-X appeared without a shell. WHY did the SA-X arrive to help you?

Samus:
Possible... still doesn't explain why the missiles did nothing though... and I'm starting to wonder why it 'helped' me as well.

Dragoon:
I'm slightly more confused on the "your genetic makeup cannot support the Ice Beam". Yet you managed to absorb it no problem. I suspect 'Adam' purposely lied to you earlier to prevent you from becoming TOO strong, destroying their valued hopes in the X Parasites, and exposing their Metroid Breeding research, something I'm sure was the sole reason you were directed back to the BSL in the first place, aliased as a mission to investigate the infestation. After retrieving the Varia Suit, it was likely that your body is now shielding from the Ice Beam's core, likewise the Ice Missiles as well.

Adam:
...

Samus:
I'm just glad it is finally over, I'm exhausted...

Dragoon:
They certainly look tired as well. We should locate a safe place to shelter them or are you going to adopt them yourself into your next adventure?

Samus:
I don't know... See You Next Mission.
