S T A L K E R: Call of Pripyat - ( 2022 ) Video #189: Gauss Gun Testing
At the end of the last video, I was on the Skadovsk at night when I saw two Bandits walking around over by the Docks. I decided to run over there and see what they were doing. I had gone to the top of one of the cranes when I decided to end the video. This video starts from there.
I had seen a campfire at the Scar Anomaly, but it had gone out, meaning whoever was there had just left. There was another campfire across the dried up river bed, behind Noah's Barge. I decided to go over there and had zapped one Zombie with the Gauss Gun when an Emission hit.
Even though Noah's Barge was the closest place for safety, I was concerned that going there might attract Bandits who would then kill him. I still want to get the good ending after the Evacuation about Noah, so the way to keep him alive is don't go there. I ran up the hill towards the Waste Processing Station when I ran into two Zombies and killing and looting them made me more sluggish trying to move. These were probably the Zombies that had been at the Scar Anomaly, and it had taken them this long to go up the hill from their camp, around the Scar and back down when I ran into them.
I made it to the Waste Processing Station and rode out the Emission there. Leaving afterward, I went around to come down the hill at the Zombie campfire I had seen earlier. Only one Zombie left. From there back across the marsh and up the hill to the Docks and then a little more time at the Skadovsk, before deciding to depart Zaton and go to Jupiter. Only after arriving there did I realize I forgot to grab my GP-37, meaning I will have to go back for it sooner than later before Pripyat.
