She’s just the right kind of crazy

Gushing:
Soya will do this thing where she says something ridiculous and as soon as you think that must be it she moves on to something even more ridiculous. Even better when she says it as if it’s supposed to be more normal than the previous thing. She’s consistent too, like she’ll say these same takes in different streams. Definitely absolutely impossible for me not to laugh my ass off when watching her.

Usual disclaimers:
I make these clips in large part to practice my not so great Japanese. My friend Cherem helps me with them which I really appreciate and makes them a lot better. I like to leave detailed translator’s notes to provide extra explanations and help people understand why I chose to translate certain things in certain ways.

Timestamp to make it so youtube doesn't interpret my TNs as “chapters”: 2:27

Translator’s notes:
0:11 “Erobon,” literally “erobook,” is a fairly self-explanatory term that is one of several that the Japanese will use to refer to this type of literature. Others include the also fairly self-explanatory “r18 manga,” “eromanga,” “lewd book,” and the hilarious euphemism “thin book.” English terms for this, such as “hentai” and “doujin,” are usually borrowed from Japanese but mean different things from their Japanese counterparts. (“Hentai” is usually a personal insult and “doujin” refers to any self-published work, although the full "doujinshi" is sometimes used in the same euphemistic way as in English.)
0:20 The prompt for this segment that the submissions are answering was times you’ve been in a big pinch.
0:23 "Shisenosato" literally means "village of happiness." "Shise" is of course Soya's infamous meme misspelling of "shiawase," happiness.
